The Okratones

The Okratones meet on common ground that includes classic bluegrass
and honky tonk, soulful '70s country, high-harmony gospel, western
swing, rockabilly, and R&B, with a great many songs either
by or about the numerous musical heroes of Mississippi.. The New England Bluegrass Band
Critically acclaimed both in the U.S., Canada and Europe, the New
England Bluegrass Band has earned a place in history of
bluegrass in a relatively short time. Recording and touring
credits with the greats of bluegrass such as Don Stover, Tony
Rice, J.D. Crowe and others. Recently featured at European
World of Bluegrass Festivals in Switzerland and the Netherlands
the band left standing room only audiences on their feet and
are already in demand to return. Their first recording (2004) "Things
In Life" received excellent reviews across the U.S. and
overseas. Their 2004 CD release was called: "Bluegrass
