After many long hours of building rehabilitation, antique/art collection, and sweat (few tears) the Carroll County Market project has taken off! We've had wonderful response from community members, friends and fans from all over the south. (and beyond) It's so good to know that good music and an artful space can still be a gathering place for community members of all generations. As Brian Ledford (of the Kudzu Kings & Taylor Grocery Band) said: "Did that guy just order a banana split? Man, you've got to love a place where you can get beer and a banana split. Mr Sippy is working with his Sister and the town of Carrollton, Mississippi to establish Carroll County Market on the Square in this little village. Construction is well underway and goods and services are being solicited and arranged and our website is under development. We expect to market locally made products, artwork fine craftwork, fresh produce in season, coffee's, tea's, ice cream and fountain specialties, some antiques, BBQ's and live Roots music. Sound fun?
